11- Projects

Projects are a set of printed or third-party parts grouped into sub-assemblies and assemblies.

Projects may or may not share parts with each other and the fact that a part is within a project does not imply that it must be manufactured obliquely.
The project manager allows linking parts together, displaying information such as a BOM (Bills of Material) and having a PDM (Product Data Management) available.

To make the information accessible, we use project cards as a gateway to the projects, which can be large or compact depending on the screen to be used.

Expanded card
Compact card

When you click on the card, you will see the parts that make up the project organized as a whole, subassemblies, as well as the catalog of third-party parts linked to it.
If the part is in stock or at any stage of production, you will be able to see its progress.

BOM

The BOM as its name indicates, details all the parts necessary for the creation of an assembly, in the view shown we have the information related to the parts, linkage with sub-assemblies and assemblies, materials, units, version, assigned user and the files associated with the part or assembly.
We can also perform actions such as requesting the production of parts or the entire assembly or the relinking of the parts.

PDM

Various components are required to manage the product information.
From the parts navigator to the documentation assigned to each element, through the properties of each component and system.
